Miami-Dade Water & Sewer Consent Decree Projects

Subcontracted by a third party to provide field inspection services for projects under the consent decree.  In 2013, WASD entered into a federally-mandated Consent Decree with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection committing to making improvements to the wastewater collection and treatment system totaling $1.6 billion over the next 15 years. WASD is the largest water and sewer utility in southeastern United States with 2.3 million people each day and an extensive network of infrastructure including over 14,000 miles of water and sewer pipelines. CPM services entail Construction Engineering Inspections of a wide range of improvements related to the wastewater and treatment infrastructure.
